how do i submit stuff?
first go to our login page to register and get a user name. then go to our submit page where you can upload text and digital files.

here we’ll ask you what category you're submitting for:
why you want to escape, how you plan to escape, where you want to go, and for the lucky ones who have already escaped please send stories and images of what that's like too

we also love getting stuff by (snail) mail - drawings, writings and we're almost set up to show film and video, so please send anything that fits into an envelope to:*

can i submit to more than one category?
yes, that would be great! you can even send multiple submissions in one category. we'll also link your submissions (click on any username and you can see a list of all of their current submissions)

how can i comment on a submission?
it's easy! just go to the bottom of any submission and click on "add new comment." we want this to be a place to share strategies, advice and encouragement, and commenting is an important part of this

how can i change my user info?
as soon as you login, your username will appear on the upper right of the screen. click on it and you can view and edit your user info.

shelly silver is the designer of the site and she's also the filmmaker who will be making the movie. click on her name for more info about her.
